1. WARRANTY OBJECTS

The warranty policy applies to trucks distributed by THACO AUTO Distribution Company, which have been registered for circulation and are operating in Vietnam.

2. WARRANTY SCOPE

The warranty is only applicable within the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

3. MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY POLICY

a. Manufacturer's warranty:

The Company guarantees to repair, adjust or replace free of charge any damaged parts or vehicle damage under normal use and maintenance conditions due to poor materials or manufacturer's assembly errors under the following terms and conditions: The warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to the first owner.

b. Warranty period

• Warranty period specified for each specific vehicle model.

• Warranty period limits for some details in the sections: "Warranty limits", "Special warranty details" and cases not covered by the warranty in the sections "Cases not covered by the warranty", "Details not covered by the warranty".

• Warranty and maintenance locations: Only warranty and maintenance facilities and authorized dealers of the Company are capable and permitted to perform warranty and maintenance work (list of warranty and maintenance facilities and authorized dealers of the Company nationwide in the Warranty Manual).

Note:

• The warranty policy will continue to apply when the vehicle is transferred to another owner.

• The Company's warranty responsibility is limited to the warranty terms and is not required to apply to other damages or losses not specified herein.

4. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS AND SPECIAL WARRANTY DETAILS

a. Warranty limitations

The following details are warranted for a certain period of time according to each specific vehicle model.

Engine

• High pressure pump, transfer pump, fuel injector, turbocharger, air compressor.

• Flywheel ring, clutch pressure plate.

Drive system

• Universal joint, intermediate bearing, hub bearing, brake drum, wheel rim.

• Rear axle including gears, differential, cross shaft, ball bearings.

Electrical and control systems:

• Switches, remote controls, electronic control boxes (ECU, ABS, body electric control boxes, ...).

• Relays, sensors, valves (intake air control valves, rail pressure valves, ...), spark plugs.

• Starter, generator, generator regulator.

• Electric motors (wipers, glass lifters, windshield washer pumps, etc.)

• Compressors (cooling blocks) that regulate the temperature in the cabin.

Exhaust gas treatment system

• Exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR) (including cooling pipes and EGR valve assembly).

• Catalytic oxidation system (DOC), diesel particulate filter (DPF), (POC).

• Urea tank, urea pump, urea injector, catalytic converter system (SCR).

Other systems

• Shock absorbers, leaf springs, torsion bars, oil seals, grease of all kinds in the engine, gearbox and axle.

• Rubber pipes (air, oil, water systems), rubber engine mounts, rubber gearbox mounts.

• Steering tie rods, clutch cylinders, brake cylinders, power take-off units (PTO) if any.

b. Special warranty details

The following parts will be warranted according to the specific policy of the manufacturer of that part. In case these manufacturers do not have a legal and authorized representative in Vietnam, the Company will consider the warranty on a case-by-case basis as below.

Tires

• The tire manufacturer's representative will warrant according to the tire manufacturer's specific warranty policy.

• In case there is no tire manufacturer's representative in Vietnam. The Company will consider performing the warranty but is not required, warranty conditions: the warranty period is not more than 6 months from the date of vehicle delivery and the tire tread height must not be worn more than 30% from the warranty line.

• Tire damage due to the following errors will not be warranted:

- Defects, damage due to: explosion, puncture, tire cuts, scratches due to external impact.

- Tire damage due to overloading or exceeding the speed limit compared to the recommended load/speed index on the tire.

- Tires with additional materials: patches, punctures, cuts, nails, punctures.

- Tire damage related to transportation and storage (torn, scratched or deformed), due to the influence of weather, environment or ozone, burned tires, gasoline.

- Damage, corrosion or rubber damage due to the use of chemical oils, corrosive liquids, balancing objects or flammable gases.

- Tires run in a low-inflation or completely deflated condition; Tires used for the wrong purpose; Tire serial numbers are cut, ground, erased, resealed; Tires are retreaded and decorated (painted, drawn, ...)

• Any damage caused by accidents related to damaged tires is not covered by the Company's warranty.
